Is Local Cantina Worth the Hype?

Right in the center of Old Hilliard lies our small town’s shining star, Local Cantina. We decided to head to the restaurant and try a few things to see what the hype was all about!

QUESO FRIES: 10/10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SO. GOOD. Don’t walk, RUN to Local Cantina to try these babies out. They will change your life. The fries were crispy and perfectly seasoned, just like an Arby’s curly fry. BUT BETTER! The queso was like a little pot of liquid gold. The portions were great and we even had some queso left over to drink with a straw.

Americano Tacos: 9/10

They were quite delicious. On the americano tacos there is ground beef, cheese, lettuce, pico de gallo, sour cream, and lime on the side.

The only thing that bothered me was the tortilla. The tortilla was like a gluten free flour tortilla except that it wasn’t.

Veggie Tacos: 8.5/10

I’d have to say they were pretty darn good. On the tacos there was a tortilla, guacamole, corn salsa, black beans, cabbage, and some type of hot sauce. I really liked them except for the tortilla, the texture was not it chief. Great vegetarian option πŸ™‚

After my first Local Cantina experience, I’m very pleasantly surprised. I can now say that I’m a diehard local fan. I can’t wait until I can go back!! Also, Taco Tuesday is a very nice touch. We got our tacos for $2 each, when they’re normally $4! Local is a great, cheap, chill, awesome, dope, amazing, delicious place to get some grub. You should go there!
