A collective list of fun memories and activities from the fall season shared by students and staff of Hilliard Davidson.

It is that time of the year when the temperatures drop, the nights get longer, and everyone starts to cozy up for the fall. Many have fond memories surrounded by the fall season, and they have been shared with friends and family. After talking with a few students and staff at Davidson, here are a few fall activities enjoyed by many.

β€œFall is my favorite season because of many reasons: football season, the weather is good, not too hot and not too cold, the leaves are really nice, Halloween, and the drinks. My mom makes these apple cider pumpkin spice cookies in the shape of a leaf.”-HDV Junior Leah Bowers

β€œI love fall. Halloween is my second favorite holiday (after Christmas). I like the weather and all the TV shows and movies around fall. And I like caramel apples… those are my favorite. When I was a kid I would always go apple picking with my aunt and go trick or treating with my friends.”-HDV Junior Olivia Hoying

β€œI think the change in seasons is really cool and having all the students back here is nice. I like that fresh crisp smell when things start to get cooler outand college football.”-HDV Counselor Mr. Odenweller

β€œI have kids and grandkids, and I usually will go with them to a pumpkin patch and we do apple picking, do trick or treat with them usually, and thanksgiving.”-HDV Secretary Sherry Elliot
